1. Brief

Before any work starts on the project, we need to understand what you expect from your project in regard to budget and timescale. We believe that good communication is the key to a successful project.

At the first meeting we will discuss these points and decide on the scale of works that we are going to undertake. We take basic measurements of space in order for us to produce floor plans, and also create scope of works and shopping list with provisional estimate in order to provide you with a more accurate figure. We amend the list throughout a project which allows us to control and monitor the budget closely.

2. Concept

After we agree on the brief, we then move onto the aesthetic side of the project. Based on the brief and requirements we will present you with our design idea along with floor plans often by using CAD drawings, PowerPoint and a material board. We can discuss further and make adjustments if required through the presentation.

3. Design

Once you are happy with our design concept, we bring the concept to reality. At this stage we begin by creating many technical drawings.

We provide kitchen, bathroom, fittings & fixtures design, lighting and electric plans. We also create a wall and floor finish schedule, and then liaise with specialists on working drawings.

4. Construction

We create a tender package to obtain quotations from contractors if required, source all suppliers/specialists, provide design supervision by holding regular site meetings, and update you on the progress and budget, all the way to snagging and project sign off. You can be as involved as you want to be.

5. Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E)

We assist you with sourcing materials, furniture, lightings, and accessories for finishing touches. Depending on the project, items can be sourced from a variety of trade contacts in the UK, Europe and Japan, as well as local retail shops, antique shops and markets when searching of unique items.

6. Completion

The final stage in the project ensures the site becomes your home. It is the most personal stage when your design brief becomes a reality. Any issues which may require further attention are dealt with.

At this stage the final invoice is due, so you can see the result and raise any concerns before concluding the project.
